Pedometers are one of the best motivational tools for weight loss newbies. You can track miles walked, steps taken and/or calories burned with these tiny gadgets.

While these pedometers are free of "bells and whistles" the more expensive ones provide, they still do a great job of keeping you motivated and are a great value for the money.
