From the article: 8 Easy Ways to Lose Weight
Easy weight loss tips seem to be shared in every women's magazine or talk show, but that doesn't mean they actually work for us regular folks. What have you tried that's really worked in the long-run? I want to hear your favorite easy weight loss tips.

Get Moving

I just started going to the gym 3 times a week for 1 hour and I have lost 15 pounds in just a few weeks. I am trying to eat better, but I still eat the foods I love. It's working; give it a try.

just do something

Everyone says that they have no time to work out, but they still sit down to watch their favorite shows playing on t.v. So why not make t.v. time the same thing as work out time? Just grab a pair of hand weights, or jog in place during your show and commercials. By doing this you get at least a thirty minute work out every time you watch t.v. I've lost 30 pounds in two month just by doing this!

Tip on helping change the portion size

The best thing you can do here is to replace all your serving plates in the house for the smaller ones. After that make sure that you make it a strict rule for not refilling your plate.

Just Walk!

I started doing Hip Hop Abs in July of 2009 and by December 15th I was 40pounds lighter! Now I've been walking since December 21, 2009 and I've lost another 30 lbs. I take a bottle of water, 2 clementines, 1 oz of almonds, just in case I get hungry on my walk. I also carry 2lb weights in each hand when I walk for an hour or an hour and a half. If your not an outdoors person dance for the same amount of time, I dance with my four year old son who has so much fun he never wants to stop!!!You can do the same, I write down everything I eat and I aim for 10-12 grams of fiber at each meal.

I LOST 70 POUNDS

I lost 70 pounds over 2 years by making a point of trying to eat 3-5 servings of fruits and vegetables every day and filling in other food items around that. There are so many great ways to enjoy produce and the result is delcious and filling! Plus, fresh produce won't wait, you must use it quickly so it forces you to do the right thing unless you want to throw it away -- and who wants to do that? Have a bowl of strawberries for breakfast, slice a half banana over whole grain cereal -- you're happy and absolutely not hungry!

Eat small, frequent meals

I think the best way to lose weight is to eat many small, nutritious meals during the day. Actually, the "meals" are mini-meals and this is supposed to rev up your metabolism. It also prevents those low blood sugar dips that make you hungry and more prone to make bad choices, like eating sugar-laden, high calorie, low nutrition snacks.

Soup! Soup! Soup!

Make large batches of a healty soup and freeze in qt. containers. Grab and microwave when hungry. Go easy on the salt, but make it tasty. Add favorite vegetables, lean meat if preferred. It will still be healthier than bagged snacks or sugar snacks. Use broth for a base, not creamed soup. Lots of veggies. Beans can be ok. The point is it has to be generally healty and READILY available. I've lost 65# over 2 years and it is staying off! Still eat the soup. I vary each batch so I won't get burned out. You CAN do it!
