Dealing with weight-loss sabotage among friends and family is just one of many weight-loss obstacles we can encounter. Think about your weight-loss history. What have your biggest obstacles to losing the weight and keeping it off been? Did you find an effective way to overcome them?

My Experience

I know better than anybody else how losing weight is tough. However, I know I can, and whenever I try hard, I get my goal. I deciced to change this situation and the following things helped me a lot: Chewing sugar-free gum, drinking lots of water, piling up salad on my plate so that I couldn't overeat, set specific times to eat and stick to them, avoid having candies and soda (especially during the week unless I really strongly want to), having cereal bars along the day and focusing my attention on anything except eating. It really worked out for me! I hope it can help you, too!

My biggest Obstacles over the year?

I don't know. They vary! At some times they were lack of proper nutrition and training knowledge. Then it was lack of commitment and discipline. Then it was unrealistic weight loss goals. Then it was expecting perfection in dieting. Then it was looking at it as a diet and not a healthy lifestyle. Then it was emotional eating. And now it's the fear of failing again.
