Guide Review - South Beach Diet Quick and Easy Cookbook

When I first read The South Beach Diet book, I remember thinking the recipes were a little "high brow" for me. As a college student, I didn't have the time or the money to make dishes like mahi mahi ... and to be honest, a lot of them didn't sound very appetizing to my simple tastes.

Well, I'm pleased to report that there are some recipes in this book that are sure to be a hit with the young at your house (and the young at heart!). These include: "South Beach" macaroni and cheese, fajitas and tacos.

While reviewing this book, I made the Shrimp Stir Fry and it was much easier than anticipated (even for a novice like yours truly). It was really tasty ... almost like dining at my favorite seafood restaurant.

They say the proof is in the pudding, but for me the proof is in tricking other people to eat "diet" food. Friends dined with me and none were aware that they were joining me "on the Beach" for our meal. In fact they all complimented me on it.

So, you can feel confident about making these meals for your family and friends. They'll enjoy the dishes, too, while you stay on your diet.
