NutriSytem Diary: Day Two

On the Menu:

  • NutriFlakes Cereal w/40% Bran
  • Hamburger Patty w/ Cheese
  • Meatballs in Tomato Sauce
  • Cinnamon Raisin Bagel Chips

So Far, So Good …
Well, I’m very happy to report that I got through my first night on the diet without giving into my anticipated midnight snack attack.

Late nights are a “danger zone” for me because between work and school, it’s the only time I unwind … and what could be better than sitting down to my favorite DVR’ed television shows along with my best pals Ben and Jerry? ;-)

Only one thing could be better … The feeling of success I got from sticking to the plan! Hooray!

Is that the Alarm?
No … it’s my stomach growling … I’m quite a bit hungrier that usual this morning, (alright, I’m downright famished!) but that most likely has more to do with giving up my normal late night munching than the diet itself.

Breakfast: NutriFlakes 40% Bran Cereal
This cereal was comparable to other bran cereals I’ve tried … which frankly isn’t saying a lot. I never actually eat bran cereal by choice, so I didn’t really care for it.

I added some fruit and it made quite a difference flavor-wise. I won’t be eating it again. That’s the beauty of this program: You can try everything they have to offer , but when you want to, you can exclude items and replace them with something you prefer before you receive the next shipment.
