What is NutriSystem?
NutriSystem is a meal plan that provides you with breakfast, lunch, dinner and a dessert/snack every day. You supplement the meals with grocery items like veggies, salads, and fruit.
You’ll receive your supply 28 days at a time if you sign up for AutoShip (when you have more than 10 pounds to lose) or you can order a single shipment. You can also buy items ala carte from the Web site.
My 28 day shipment cost me around $300, including shipping and handling. My order arrived quite quickly and in perfect condition.
How Does it Work?
All of the foods are either ready to eat, microwavable, or you simply add boiling water to them. When you need to, you can order recommended foods at restaurants or fast food joints (e.g. a small hamburger) which are listed in the literature that comes with your shipment.
The plans vary slightly between men and women, or, if you have more than 100 pounds to lose. You’ll need to add a few extra servings of additional foods to your plan in these cases.
Every day, you can use the diary provided to track your intake of the right servings of extra foods and your meals.
