Egg nog is a must for holiday gatherings, but it isn't exactly diet-friendly. A single serving of traditional egg nog could weigh in at around 600 calories! (That's the fat equivalent of six pats of butter and the same number of calories as five slices of fruit cake!) This lower calorie version is a great alternative.

Ingredients:

  • Egg substitute, 1 ½ c.
  • 1% milk, 1 c.
  • Fat-free half and half, 1 c.
  • Sugar, ½ c.
  • Vanilla, 2 tsp.
  • Ground nutmeg, 1 ½ tsp

Preparation:

Combine all ingredients. Blend in blender until smooth. Yields: 1 serving Calories: 127
