Definition: Mono-unsaturated fats are found in certain foods and are beneficial to your health when eaten in moderation, as they help reduce bad cholesterol levels.
Also Known As: good fat
Examples: Olive oil, canola oil, peanut oil, sunflower oil and sesame oil are all excellent sources of monounsaturated fats.
