Realize it's Not as Bad as You Think

The main reason most of us put doing things off is that we think they're going to be unpleasant. Granted, coaxing those dust bunnies out from under my fridge isn't the most enjoyable thing in the world, but it's not exactly torture either. Things rarely turn out to be as bad as we think they'll be: That diet isn't as restrictive as you think; that exercise tape isn't going to ruin your day. Like Mom said, "Try it ... you just might like it!".
