Stick to a Schedule

I used to put off tidying up my apartment until the dust bunnies practically sprouted legs ... which of course, only made the task more difficult. Then I started marking cleaning chores on my calendar: Friday night is a hot date with the fridge, cleaning it out and wiping it down; Saturday afternoons, the mop and I have big plans. Make an appointment with yourself for exercise, planning menus, etc., and you're more likely to follow through.
