Patsy's Low-Fat Dressing Recipe

Thank you to Patsy in Shepherd's Park for the following recipe. Patsy has followed a low-fat diet for 18 months now and has lost 42 of the 50 pounds she wants to lose. Way to go, Patsy!

Prep Time: 10 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 2/3 cup fat-free buttermilk
  • 1/4 cup reduced-fat sour cream
  • 2 Tbsp. low-fat mayonnaise
  • dash of salt and pepper
  • 2/3 Tbsp. grated parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 tspn. dried chives
  • 1/4 tspn. garlic powder

Preparation:

Combine ingredients and whisk or stir. Chill in the fridge. Best if chilled overnight. Serve cold over salad greens or as vegetable dip. It's only 1 gram of fat per Tablespoon. Yields one cup.
