This is a tasty reduced-fat dressing that makes an excellent alternative if you like the substance of really creamy dressings like bleu cheese. Thank you to Candace Saunders for sending this one in.

Prep Time: 10 minutes

Ingredients:

  • half of a 16 oz. container of reduced-fat cottage cheese
  • 1 tablespoon mayo
  • dash of black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 2 teaspoons finely chopped green onions
  • 2 teaspoons finely chopped onions
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried parsley

Preparation:

This makes about a cup of dressing. It has one gram of fat and about 20 calories per tablespoon. I also like this dressing as a dip for vegetables. My daughter likes it on Ritz crackers.
