Q: What do you regularly do for exercise?
Walk or jog for 20-30 minutes per day. 3 -5 sets of 20 crunches and 20 standing push-ups.
Q: What is your favorite healthy treat?
Dannon fruit on the bottom yogurt. I also like roast beef on oat bran with a little mayonnaise. Tip: Promise Ultra is pretty good and has no calories.
Q: What is the best part about weight loss for you?
A: Look better, feel better and have more energy. I like being able to keep up with my 3 boys.
Q: What is the one thing you wish someone would have told you about weight loss before you started?
A: How much better I would feel. I have less stress and am less depressed when my boys act up. Since I'm able to keep up with them more I feel better about them.
Q: How do you cope with cravings?
A: Sometimes I handle food cravings by having something to drink instead and waiting to see if that takes care of it. Sometimes I eat some peanut butter off a spoon tiny bits at a time. That usually does it. I read that somewhere and it works. Sometimes I give in. You need to do that occasionally.
Q: What has been the most difficult part of losing weight for you?
A: There are a lot of times when I am not losing any weight at all, like now. It is very frustrating and I often feel like giving up. I keep going because of the way I feel when I exercise.
Q: If you could sum up your attitude about losing weight in one word, what would it be?
A: Drawn-out!
Q: Do you have a person, quote or book that has inspired you?
A: Prevention magazine has a great book on weight loss. They also have a new one that I'm waiting to receive in the mail. I also love the weight loss sites on About, very informative and great people in the forums.
