"Pita bread is very filling and most have no fat to speak of. And don't forget the cheapest of diet foods and it's good for you too... water! Plain and simple one of the best things you can do for your body is get that 8 glasses of water a day." Tina
Drink an Awesome Apple
"Apples are very filling and have lots of fiber, but tend to be "boring" after a while. I was successful on a Slim-Fast diet by blending a whole apple and some ice in with my morning shake. Kept me full till long after lunch. You could probably do this with any liquid diet meal, or even with skim milk and flavorings. If you use a fairly bland type of apple, you don't even notice the taste." Karen
Pita = Snack Perfection
"I make snack chips out of Pita Bread. I cut the "round" into long strips, then into bite size (long enough to dip) pieces. The brand I buy has six pita breads in the pkg. After I have cut them, I place no more than two cut up rounds in a Pyrex dish. I microwave that amount for 5 minutes.
"They are crisp and make wonderful, healthy dip chips. I would suggest experimenting with less time until you know the amount of time it takes your microwave. I complete the entire package and then put the chips back in the original bag and freeze them. I prefer the wheat pitas, but that is a matter of taste." - Suetta
Breakfast the Weight Watchers Way
"This is an old recipe from Weight Watchers:
1/2 cup non fat plain yogurt
3/4 cup Special K
8 frozen black cherries, non-sweetened
Cut cherries into quarters and microwave for 30 seconds on high. Mix with the cereal and yogurt. You may substitute a serving portion of any low fat cereal for the Special K." - Janette
