How to 'Magically' Lose Five Pounds

Even with the same weight, a taller person looks like a slimmer one. You can look around five pounds slimmer if you add an inch to your height simply by adopting a better posture.

Difficulty Level: Easy    Time Required: five minutes


Here's How:
  1. Stand in front of a tall mirror.
  2. Lift up your shoulders.
  3. Rotate your shoulders back.
  4. Press them down.
  5. Keep your shoulders as far back and down as you can. Hold for the count of 16.
  6. Relax your shoulders.
  7. Relax your arms.
  8. Make your neck long and straight. Do not tilt your head.
  9. Flatten the low of your back.
  10. Contract your abdominal muscles to flatten your stomach.
  11. Take a minute or two to 'memorize' how your body feels while in this position.
  12. Remember this feeling every time you want to look slimmer.


Tips:

  1. Measure you height before and in the process of the exercise.
  2. Take before and after pictures of yourself in tight clothes.
  3. Do this exercise regularly and you'll notice an improvement in your posture.
