Currently she is a full-time writer and part-time trainer. Malia works with physicians, registered dieticians, behavioral health specialists and fitness professionals to develop web content, instructional materials and news articles that guide dieters through the process of setting and reaching their weight loss goals.
Malia holds a bachelors degree in Journalism from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, and an M.A. from the University of California, Los Angeles. She is also an American Council on Exercise certified health coach and certified personal trainer.
