Saturday "Smart Swap!": Wendy's

Could a smart food swap actually mean saying no to a salad and yes to a burger? Believe it or not, it can! You may already realize that the salad isn't always the best choice at a fast food eatery, but it always helps to see the numbers:

At Wendy's a Chicken BLT Salad with low-fat honey mustard dressing and croutons will set you back over 500 calories -- 520, to be exact. It also includes 9 grams of saturated fat (23 total fat grams) and 1310 milligrams of sodium.

Order a Classic Single (no mayo!) and you'll cut nearly 200 calories, 8 grams of total fat (2, saturated) and reduce your sodium intake by 410 milligrams!
