Saturday "Smart Swap!": Domino's

From Jennifer R. Scott, About.com GuideJuly 10, 2010

If you're super-serious about saving calories, appetizers may seem like a no-go altogether, especially somewhere like a pizza place. But, if you've got some spare calories to splurge, consider this swap:

If you order the Cheesy Bread at Domino's, just two pieces (and who can stop there?) pack in nearly 300 calories (284, to be exact!) and over 12 grams of fat!

You may be surprised to find out that chicken wings will do you less dietary damage: Two Hot Buffalo Wings will only sent you back 90 calories and five grams of fat. Bring on the wings!

Good tips for those who chose this type of eating….but are either of these items good for you? I came to your blog because I saw your excellent article about making systematic change that was posted at calorie counter.
You are in a perfect position to apply that wisdom to eating really healthy foods and encouraging others. We could wind up with a skinnier but not healthier nation if people don’t learn about the troubles in the food industry’s products.
I wish you the best in your in health endeavor and your writing career.
