Whole foods are foods that haven't been processed -- nothing's been added or taken away from them. This includes fruit, veggies, legumes, and whole grains like brown rice.

They're easier for your body to digest and they contain plenty of vitamins, something refined foods miss out on. The best part is, they typically keep you feeling fuller longer, so you're less likely to overeat when you eat them.
