Well, "Wat-er" You Know?

According to a study of more than 200 overweight women conducted by the Children's Hospital & Research Center, Oakland, CA, dieters who switch from sugary drinks to water lose an average of three more pounds a year than those who continued drinking sweetened beverages.

Not only does the swap save calories, water may also help boost your metabolism since it helps to hydrate the cells that process carbs and fats.
