Not ready to commit to the low-carb way of life? Why not try making these switches for a few weeks and see how it goes? These trade-off's are smart whether you want to go low-carb or you just want to start eating healthier!

  • Instead of white bread... choose 100% whole grain bread.
  • Instead of sugary cereals... choose whole grain cereals like Cheerios.
  • Instead of white rice... choose brown rice.
  • Instead of regular potatoes... choose red potatoes.
  • Instead of regular pasta... choose whole wheat pasta.
  • Instead of regular spaghetti... try cooked spaghetti squash.
