Do You Measure Up?

It may be the last thing you want to do, but if you're considering starting a diet ... the first thing you need to do is assess your weight.

Recent research has shown that waist-to-hip ratio may be the ideal way to gauge your weight because it is the best indicator of the risk of heart problems.

To assess your waist-to-hip ratio, all you need is a measuring tape, a piece of scrap paper and a head for math (Or ... if you're anything like me, a calculator to do the math!).
